WWII Veteran Receives 13,000 Birthday Cards Through USPS
The Antigo, WI Post Office recently helped deliver over 13,000 birthday cards and packages to Reuben Kolpack, a 104-year-old World War II veteran from Birnamwood, WI.

Kolpack’s granddaughter initially requested 104 cards—one for each year of his life—through a social media post. The request went viral, and mail poured in from around the world, including Australia and the Netherlands.

David O. Stevens Appointed as Postmaster in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

USPS has named David O. Stevens as the new Postmaster of St. Thomas, VI. With nearly 40 years of experience in the Caribbean postal system, Stevens brings extensive leadership knowledge.

Originally from St. Croix, Stevens has held multiple roles within USPS, including customer services supervisor, manager, and officer in charge. His appointment was officiated by Carlos E. Del Toro, the Puerto Rico-Caribbean District Manager.

USPS Honors Mooresville, IN Carrier with Final Route Tribute

After the passing of Travis Green, a 36-year USPS rural carrier, coworkers paid tribute by driving his delivery route one last time, including a heartfelt pass by his mother’s house.

The tribute video quickly gained attention on social media. Local columnist Merv Hendricks honored Green in a piece titled “The Final Delivery,” writing, “Travis Green did so much more than deliver mail. He delivered jokes and smiles.”
